Speedy Lasagna Supper
"RE maldo: The recipe has a sentence in step 2 that says "In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients until blended." These remaining ingredients include the Bisquick, milk, salt, pepper, and eggs. They are stirred until blended and poured over the beef mixture in the 13x9" baking dish. It's a type of an Impossibly Easy pie. :) Hope this helps. "

Raspberry Meringues
"RE Fruutcake: Sometimes meringue won't beat up as high as necessary if the sugar isn't added very gradually. Try beating the egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt for 4-5 minutes, then start adding 1 tablespoon sugar at a time about 15-20 second intervals for 10 minutes. Then beat in the jam and food color. Also, be sure to use metal or glass bowls for beating the meringue. The meringues should be completely baked after 2 hours and should not require another hour for baking. Humid or rainy weather definitely affects meringue causing stickiness and weaping so maybe that caused the problem too. Make sure the meringues are immediately placed in the oven for baking and stored in an airtight container after cooling to avoid additional moisture absorption."

Raspberry-White Chocolate Coffee Cake
"RE GrannyJannie: Grease bottom and sides of 10-inch angel food cake pan (with removable bottom); lightly flour. After baking the coffee cake, cool upright 10 minutes. Place a cooling rack on top of the pan and invert, may want to gently run a knife around the edge before inverting. Once the cake is inverted with the side of the pan removed, a knife can gently be run between the bottom of the cake and cake pan bottom if necessary. Then place a serving platter on the "top" of the cake and invert again."

Cinnamon-Raisin Biscuits
"RE dlzh: All great suggestions/comments. The baked biscuits do freeze well by simply storing them in a plastic zip-loc bag. When you're ready to eat them, reheat them in the microwave for 15-20 seconds."

Orange Grilled Beer-Can Chickens
"RE MariMcP: Yes, this recipe can be made in the oven. Heat oven to 350°F. Follow Steps 1, 2, and 3--except place chickens balanced on beer cans in a large roasting pan instead of on the grill. Roast about 2 hours or until thermometers read at least 165°F and legs move easily when lifted or twisted. The remaining orange halves in step 4 can be added to the roasting pan during the last 20 minutes. Continue with Step 5."

Eggplant Parmesan
"RE Krisb781: The eggplant in this recipe can be peeled as it is instructed in the ingredient list or unpeeled as it is in the photo. The skin is edible and some people like it's texture, extra nutrients, and added integrity. Others think it's tough and bitter so whichever is your preference, it can be made either way. Freshly picked eggplants have more tender skin."

Grilled Honey BBQ Pork Packs
"RE BananasforBaking: Yes, this recipe can be made in the oven instead of on a grill. Heat oven to 425°F. Follow steps 1 and 2, but in step 3 place the packets in the oven. Bake about 30 minutes or until pork chops are no longer pink in center and vegetables are fork-tender."

Fairy Tale Princess Cake
"RE JJ539: Yes, the cake can definitely be made with a chocolate cake. The pink frosting will work well for covering up the chocolate cake."

Parmesan-Dijon Chicken
"RE ankiamom: The butter and mustard mixture is for adding moisture to the outer part of the chicken so the bread crumb and Parmesan cheese mixture will stick and coat the chicken. Margarine can be used as an alternate to butter."

Raspberry Truffle Tart
"RE bookladydavina: The Bisquick Gluten Free can't be substituted in all Bisquick recipes. The simple explanation is that the major ingredient in Bisquick is wheat flour and the major ingredient in Bisquick Gluten Free is rice flour. These two ingredients perform extremely different in recipes, thus a Bisquick recipe needs to be modified somewhat to work with Gluten Free Bisquick. Let us know if you end up testing it out. Until then please search under "Gluten Free Tart", in the top right, to see what recipes pop up. They help help or inspire as you tweak this recipe. "

Gluten Free Ultimate Cut Out Cookies
"RE sweetwishes: Just chatted with Sherri, one of our Kitchen Experts, and here is what she had to say: "This recipe is actually very tolerant and should not be a problem to roll and/or cut out as long as additional powdered sugar is sprinkled on the work surface while working with only 1/2 of the dough at a time. Also dip a metal spatula/turner in powdered sugar for easier transferring to a cookie sheet. Gluten Free Bisquick is made with rice flour instead of wheat flour which gives it somewhat of a grittier texture, but very typical of gluten free cookies." Hope this helps."

Impossibly Easy Spinach and Feta Pie
"RE Kidd-Kaneo: The Bisquick, milk, salt, pepper, and eggs are all mixed together and poured over the spinach, cheese and onions in the greased pie plate. The Bisquick is not used for a separate crust as the recipe sets up and sort of forms its own "crust" rather than a pie with a pastry crust. Hope this helps. Happy baking!"

Easy Grilled Vegetables
"RE Kelly_D: In order to make this recipe in the oven, return the vegetables back to the 13x9 baking dish after straining and reserving the dressing marinade, but wipe out and generously spray the baking dish before returning the vegetables. Heat oven to 450°F and roast 20 minutes. Turn, stir, and brush vegetables with reserved marinade. Roast 20 minutes longer or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Happy baking! :) "

Southern Apple Crumble
"RE cookiepro: The cold butter cut into small pieces is meant to be simply tossed with the filling ingredients, not really "mixed" into the apples, so that it gives the filling its richness."

Banana Bread
"RE mhughes27: This recipe is a classic, however sometimes baking soda can give off this flavor. In this recipe, I actually beat in the baking soda with the bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla portion to ensure there won't be any baking soda lumps left in the baked bread which sometimes happens when it's only stirred in with the flour. And try replacing the baking soda with a fresh box as that helps too. And make sure to use a glass bowl and possibly even a glass loaf pan as that could help the flavor too."

Chocolate Olive Oil Cupcakes
"RE judyartist: The ratios in the recipe look accurate, however, the baking powder could be reduced down by at least 1/2 teaspoon, maybe even down to 1 teaspoon. The milk should be ok at 1/3 cup along with the 2 eggs and 1/3 cup olive oil as the liquids. Happy baking!"

Impossibly Easy Coconut Pie
"RE LilyofCharlotte: Hmm... Maybe the pie plate was not a 9-inch glass pie plate and was smaller so it wouldn't hold this recipe capacity. A disposable aluminum pan is typically too small. The 1/2 cup Bisquick and 4 eggs thicken the pie, so maybe one of these was not measured accurately or forgotten. "

Fudge Crinkles
"RE angelteddycupcake: Here are some ideas from the kitchen– (1) Maybe a dark or nonstick cookie sheet was used or maybe the oven is running hot which may cause the hard flat cookies. (2) Or if a substitute for oil was used such as margarine that could have caused the same poor results. (3) Or maybe the cookies were made on the smaller side which would cause them to be overbaked at 10 min. "
