"Isn't this just about like the Seven Layer Magic Cookie Bars? Not much of a difference...just use a Cookie Mix and add Vanilla Chips instead of butterscotch. "YUMMM-O! This is one of the Best cakes I have ever made from a Cake Mix! It's a very moist cake and the Mandarin Oranges adds to the wonderful flavor. Carrot cake is my favorite cake and this is like homemade! Every time I make it people want my recipe. They can't believe it's from a cake mix! I highly recommend this recipe! "

"I have made these bars several times now. They are Terrific!! But, I do think Betty Crocker made a mistake on the baking time. If you try baking the cookie base between 13 to 15 minutes they are great...nice and soft! It appears to be a bit under cooked but it is much better this way. I have people rave over these bars and always ask for my recipe!! Try them...these are soooo Yummy!!"
