"Unfortunately, I was unable to find the 1969 cookbook that you were asking for. I did find the recipe from 1975 cookbook. I hope this will work for you or be somewhat similar. Chocolate Chip Cookies 2/3 cup shortening 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened"

"Here is the Betty Crocker Kitchen's advice on freezing any cookies... "Tightly wrap, label and freeze unfrosted cookies for up to 12 months and frosted for up to 3 months. Put cookies in single layers in freezer containers and cover with waxed"
