Very hard to find but I did find it at Shoprite and a small local store. I suggest talking to your store manager, maybe he or she can order it.

I love cherry chip cake but live in Michigan and can never ever find it anywere? And the places like super kmart that do carry it once in a while, are always out of it. Please help!! And why is it that some stores have it and some don't?

Thanks aprloliver007. I found the Cherry Chip cake and the Cherry icing at Albertsons on Commercial Blvd & Dixie Hwy in Fort Lauderdale. They had a good amount of both as well as a lot of other kinds.

After some on-line research with outrageous prices on E-bay, I found this at Wal-Mart, of course not my local one. Out-of stock on-line, hope this helps all of you Cherry Chip Loverssuch as myself :)

I had not seen cherry chip cake for sale in stores for years. I am disappointed to find out it's no longer being sold. Perhaps if it had been available for purchase at more places there would be no need to discontinue it due to low sales. Boxed cake mixes are usually flavorless and not worth the bland taste. If it doesn't taste like cake why bother making it? Cherry chip is one of two cakes I thought worthwhile, as everyone in my family loved it. The other is not this brand. Sorry Betty, maybe you should bring Cherry Chip back and make a lot of your customers happy.
