THe trick to using all betty crocker shake n pour products is to mix it in a bowl but it will through the whole idea of the product which is shake n pour I hope this changes your ideas about things @ThomCatg2

My hubby decided to make these, he actually greased a 8X8 pan with butter, added the water, walked around the house shaking and singing and baked them. They are delicious,he is now saying he is a very good cook! LOL Seriously they are really good and easy enough for my husband to bake. Thanks Betty Crocker.

I was excited at first to try this but knew it would be tough getting the mix out and boy was I ever so right. This idea was a bad move on Betty Crockers part. I feel I wasted my money. Our wrists hurt from trying to shake it down to get it all out. If this was mixed in a bowl, every drop would be used. I do not like wasting food that I paid for. I feel sorry for the elderly if this is the new way they will market this product. Did they actually test this product before making it to see how hard it is to use? I will NOT be buying this product again and the other bottles I bought will be emptied into a bowl first before adding water.

I tried them this morning with my grandaughters - they shook and shook- we evenually emptied into a bowl because it wasn't mixing correctly, still dry ingredients, needed a thin spatula to get most out- some was in the handle. It didn't make much, used a round 6" pan and still were very thin, they cracked in several pieces after cooling, no cutting necessary. They had fun anyway, tasted great- very rich- we will stick with the box works so much better-that's pretty easy and a lot cheaper! I got a good laugh watching them struggle.

Me and my daughter were so excited to try this new brownie mix. Followed directions, shock it up and poured. So dissapointed! Most of the mix stayed inside the container. We beat it on the counter etc. I'd rather just use the mix in the box. We get more brownies out of the box than the shake and pour mix!!

This is the second time I tried these and what I ended up with was a crumbled mess. Would have been great as a topping for ice cream.

I tried these brownies. I used a 8 x 8 pan and they didn't rise very much. After they cooled, I iced them with Coconut Pecan Icing. Very good taste and convenient to make.

The mix did not mix well at all with the water, despite vigorous shaking & repeated tapping of corners. Brownies were extremely thin despite using an 8 x 8 pan. Good fudgy flavor, but otherwise thoroughly disappointing. Tip: Redesign the handle so none of the mix/batter can get into it.
