I substituted apple sauce for the water and added ground-flax as an egg substitute (2tbl ground flax mix with 1/3C water and let it sit until the flax absorbs the water... it'll be gloppy and kind of gummy) and mixed in a bowl - it was soooooooooo good. I brought a 2nd batch to a party and not only did they not come back with me but I was asked for the recipe many times.

This seemed like a good idea, but when they were done, they tasted awful! The flavor was okay, but the texture was the worst. It was like a spongy slice of brownie-flavored rubber. My husband and kids each tried one, and none of them liked them. Worst brownies ever! They were like a combination of a sponge and rubber, and they were awful! Not recommended at all, and a huge disappointment.

The concept is great. The execution was not. These had no flavor at all. Even my 7 year old didn't want more. I don't know how much was left in the bottle, I'm guessing quite a bit because these were incredibly thin. I won't be buying this, it is no big deal to use the regular mix with a bowl and the items you add. I ended up throwing most of them out because no one even wants them crumbled on top of ice cream.

My name is Jessica, and I bought these because I had to go out of town for the weekend to visit my sister and my husband (who can't cook at all) was going to be home alone. I was hoping that he would be able to make himself something deliciious for desert—and boy was I right! These were a breeze, he just poured them in the pan and BANG instant brownie goodness. :) I would highly recommend these for everyone. I even had a little taste of the leftovers (he saved me some) when I got back from visiting my sister—and boy were they good! Just thick enough, not to lumpy: perfect. Five stars.

Neat concept, really easy to make, taste awful, really thin, no substance. Back to the box.

My kids and I tried all 3 of them. Not to bad but thought maybe a different shaped bottle. They did taste good tho and everybody liked them.

Well me and my daughter decided we where going to make this since it was the super bowl.We added the water to the mix and when we where done we poured the mix into the pan. It was very thin and lumpy. Once we got it out and tasted it we where not pleased at all. Back to the box for us!
