How to Cook with Ready-to-Serve Soup
Progresso soups are ready to serve—no need to add water or milk. To use in recipes as an ingredient, use the same amount of Progresso soup as you would use of condensed soup mixed with liquid.
Serve Progresso® soup as the first course when entertaining.
Try these favorites:
Tomato Basil
Southwestern Style Corn Chowder
Lentil
French Onion.
Jazz up Progresso soup:
Serve soup in bread bowls you can purchase at larger supermarkets. Or make your own.
Sprinkle chopped fresh basil, sage, cilantro or rosemary over soups.
Top soup with your favorite shredded cheese, cubed cheese or cheese slices cut with decorative cookie cutters.
Top soup with croutons.
Sprinkle chili powder or paprika over soup bowl rims for a restaurant-fancy finish.
Sides for Progresso Soups
Pillsbury® oven baked dinner rolls or may we suggest a quick-fix, Herbed Italian Bread.
Bagged green salads tossed with dressing or extras like fruit, veggies and canned beans.
Progresso Soup Stir-Ins
Leftover cooked veggies and/or meat? Chop and stir into your favorite soup.
Stretch soup by stirring in a can of drained Progresso® pinto, black, cannellini or kidney beans.
