So interesting that this company has nothing but bad reviews for this product and STILL insists there is nothing wrong and that consumers 'want this change'. WE DON'T!! I will tell you that, in order to make the taco mix palatable, I have taken to mixing a packet of Original (which is NOT original) and a packet of mild, and it does make the taste better. Betty Crocker....seriously, you have made a mistake!

I have heard back from Betty Crocker they said they did not know of any problems, look there are 115 reviews for this product they don't care about us if we want this fixed the we need to point this out to large chain stores that carry the product (Walmart ,Target,Kroger, Safeway,) when the big retailers start to complain then maybe they will listen

I grew up on old el paso seasoning for 45 years now. Everyone, friends and family love my tacos. Over the past 6 months my tacos have tasted terrible and now I know why. Please return to the old recipe!!! The new formula is awful!

Made tacos tonight from your hard and soft taco dinner package. My husband and I sat down to enjoy our dinner. I hadn't made this dinner in some time because of health issues. OMG! We were both grabbing our drinks. The seasoning is too hot! I went on your web site and am now learning that you changed the seasoning. We too are disappointed. I cannot buy this again. It is too hot. Hope you go back to your old recipe. I said to my husband it's a good thing our girls are grown. They loved making and eating your tacos when they were little. This seasoning would have burned their young and little mouths.

This is a real shame, The original seasoning was absolutely delicious and I've been using it for years. All my friends would tell me I make the best tacos. Now I cant even feed it to my dog, his dog food taste better. People are not lying, I've ruined a pound of beef and had to throw it all away. It's completely inedible! What the heck is wrong with you people? I will PASS on OLD EL PASO!

The new formula is disgusting. We used Old El Paso for years, and now I am completely unable to eat it. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I signed up this evening so I could comment on the Old El Paso Taco Seasoning disaster. My Wife bought a pack of the powder today because itwas labeled 'Original' - and, she hoped that they changed it back to the way it was before the change. Unfortunately, it was the new product - which 'tainted' another pound of ground round before she realized it. We (too) have discovered McCormick premium powder in a 24 ounce container purchased at Sam's or BJ's. Although it's not quite as good as the 'OLD' Old El Paso, it's far better than the current OEP. We're gradually experimenting with the McCormick by adding various spices in an attempt to duplicate the old OEP. They really need to offer it again - perhaps as the 'Classic' formula?
