target is running a promo and giving this product away for free thru 3/5/2013 or -- buy 2lbs target g/beef 80/20 and get the kit for free. All shells were NOT broken...flour tortillas were perfect after throwing them in the oven @400 for 4 minutes each side (on rack). if shells are broke in half, put your fave cheese on each half, oven bake @400 & melt cheese and put the ground beef in the heated soft flour tortillas and add half a shell w/melted cheese...better than taco bell! add arugula salad (shredded). OH & I had trader joe's taco seasoning(so did not use their sauce so based on below...good thing) & Salud!

I like Sassie99 went to my local Publix, went to the usual spot to get my soft & hard taco kit, like I have for MANY years, got home with all my fixins, started cooking & found the meat seasoning package missing...I never use the picante sauce, but the seasoning packet is the only reason I bought your product. I mean the box size and coloring is the same, just that I feel I was short handed. What a rip off, change the box or make it more obvious it is not a dinner kit, shells only.Thought you would want to know, if it is not going to be a full kit, I will buy the shells from scratch from a different maufacturer.... they are more authentic anyway! Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My hubby and daughter went to the grocery today. They love the taco dinners and picked up their fave. Hard and soft tacos. Hubby started to make it and there was no pkt of meat seasoning OR picante sauce. They went to the store to get a pkt of seasoning. Also, they couldn't eat the soft tacos because they were gooey as if they were not cooked thoroughly.(I only eat the hard shells) Really thought you would like to know that someone was asleep to let this get by. Now we will be returning to scratch tacos!!!!!!. Would you like the tortillas returned? Tell me this is not the wave of the future. Thank you

I couldn't believe this kit. My first time buying a taco kit and was so disappointed. First, I'm glad it was for just my toddler son and me. He had the soft tortillas with chicken I made for him (he doesn't need the spice/doesn't eat beef) which was fine. I ate the hard shells with beef made according to prep instruction. Filling the shells was a joke and I decided to just crush them and make a taco salad. HOWEVER - this was WAY too salty! All I could taste was salt and not taco seasoning. Will never buy this or another Old El Paso kit again. I'm better off just spending another hour cooking tacos homemade.

Very very disappointed in this kit over all. The hard shells were stale, and also too narrow to fill. The soft shells were no more than 4 in. round. this kit looked like it was made for a 5 yr old. Will never buy this product or any other old el paso product again. I also would not recommend this product to anyone else either.

Definitely agree with everyone else about the issue of the hard shells being broke. But I found that lately they are also so uneven or literally closed to the point you can't even put anything into them. Very disappointed, hopefully the issue gets resolved. I will be trying a different taco kit next time.

My issue is with the hard shells, they were all broken in half although the box had not been crushed, it was perfectly in tact. otherwise it was tastefull but a shame we had to scoop up our taco fixins.

Bought this box of soft taco dinner kit. We usually eat hard shells so we tried the soft. We cannot recommend this product at this point. The soft shells were not good and fell apart. Will not buy them again.

I thought i bought a bad box now i see that everyone is having the same problem. The soft shells are ridiculous. They fall apart. the kids are frustrated all the stuff falls out. I am going back to ortega taco kits. They are alittle more money but they are better.....
