Bring the original back recipe! It was so much better. The taste was better, the prep was easier. Just toss everything into one pan and boom Mac and Cheese in a few minutes. No boiling water, adding noodles, straining water, etc. Everything was better with the original recipe. I was so sad to see that everything switched to Kraft blue box knock off. Old recipe 5 stars! New Blue Box knock off 2 stars

Love the old prep with one cup water and one cup milk...cook pasta in the sauce. So much more flavor!

Please start making the grilled cheese & original mac & cheese again. The 'new and improved' tastes just like kraft. The original recipe set you apart and had a gourmet taste.

New and Improved?? Really?? I used to love your mac & cheese prepared the old way with 1 cup water, 1 cup milk, & 4 tbsp butter all mixed together. It was cheesy and creamy and much better than your competitor. The "new prep" is not only more work, but it tastes like macaroni with orange paste. When I checked the ingredients, you have mixed in Ricotta cheese, Blue Cheese, Parmesan cheese, and finally cheddar Cheese. That is just so wrong. Anyone buying boxed mac & cheese, just wants CHEDDAR! For anyone who doesn't have the old recipe, just mix in everything together; heat to boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 12 min., stirring occasionally.

I agree with the post below. The old recipe tasted so much better. Cooking the noodles with the sauce gave it a better flavor. The texture of the noodles was better. And I liked not having to drain the noodles too. This product was SO much better than Kraft. Now it tastes very similar. Please go back to the original recipe. Thanks so much for allowing my input!

The original way of making this was not only easier but tasted better then the new and improved version. The last time I made it, I had a box of the old and two boxes of the new so I made the old box and one of the new boxes and just used the old way to prepare it and it was GREAT. Then when I went to use the box of the new, I couldn't remember exactly what I used with the old box and I didn't have anymore of the old so I prepared it according to the new directions and did not like it as much. Was making mac n cheese once a week for the kids but haven't bought any for over a month because it just isn't as good as it was. Why was it changed? I thought maybe because more milk (and I think butter too) was used.

I used to love the original grilled cheese mac and cheese. It was my favorite! I bought boxes and boxes. Then Betty Crocker made it "New and Improved." I would say, NOT improved. The noodles used to be much larger and thicker than Kraft noodles, which we loved, and the way you cooked everything together made the flavor even more enjoyable. This was a family favorite. The "new and improved" noodles and thin and flimsy, to be blunt, we hate them. If we wanted noodles like that we'd have gone with Kraft, which I daresay does flimsy, thin noodles better. The quality has definitely decreased in a horribly noticeable way. I am extremely disappointed. I would hope that in the future Betty Crocker would remedy this and make it more like the original. Until then, I will be buying Kraft.
