My husband and I LOVE this mac and cheese. We don't follow the directions as listed. We boil the pasta in the water, we don't boil it with the milk or the sauce. Then when the pasta is cooked, we add the margarine and cheese packet. We don't add any milk to it, it stays perfectly creamy without it!! We love how much creamier this mac and cheese is. We just made Kraft today to compare and the two aren't even close. Betty Crocker is so much better!!!!!

Wow, I can truthfully say that I have found out what happens when hamburger helper rejects Mac and cheese. This was the WORST attempt at Mac and cheese I have ever tried. I am glad that I tasted it before I tried to give it to my children. I an never buying this again.

We think this is the BEST Mac and Cheese!!! Sooooooooo much better (and easier) than Kraft. In fact I had a couple of boxes of Kraft in the pantry and cooked them last night and it so didn't compare. My favorite is the grilled cheese but the family loves all three.

Betty Crocker has always been known for quality products and I couldn't believe it when I prepared this terrible substance called Mac and Cheese original last night. I couldn't get the macaroni properly cooked because the sauce kept drying up in the pot so I had no choice but to add another whole cup of milk. No cheese flavor at all. This stuff tasted like lumpy wall-paper paste...Betty, you done me wrong...

I just tried the Grilled Cheese last night and the flavor was bland. I even used real butter. I have the cheese pizza and I am not sure I will be cooking it unless I am really hungry... In my opinion Betty Crocker needs to stick with cakes!!!

I got all three brands of Betty Crocker Mac and Cheese thinking they would be great and interesting. I used the original in a recipe so I can't really comment on it, but I did just try the Grilled Cheese. I could hardly taste the cheese and it was dryer than anything I could imagine. It was by far the worst mac and cheese I've ever eaten. I'm half way afraid to try the Cheese Pizza one now. I may have been an idiot when I bought it because on this site it says it has "a creamy, cheesy sauce" and on the instructions it has a picture of cheese sauce coming out of the packet. Instead it's a cheese POWDER. I would actually buy a generic brand that I know taste good over BC brand mac and cheese. Betty Crocker, stick to cakes!

This is the absolute worst mac and cheese I have EVER had. Just awful. I used the Grilled Cheese flavor. I have used so many Betty Crocker products that I truly trusted, and was excited to try this Mac & Cheese, expecting something amazing. I can't even describe the taste-like burnt chemicals of some sort (and I UNDER cook pasta at my house-I did not burn the meal).

I'va always been a fan of pretty much anything made by Betty Crocker, BUT not the mac n cheese. I tried the Original and found it not very original (almost no flavor). I also tried the Grilled Cheese and found it to be marginally better. If this was the last macaroni and cheese in the world I would do without!

Best mac and cheese from a box ever. Forget Stouffers. Forget Bob Evans. Forget Kraft. I have donated all our other brands to the food pantry. Please don't change a thing!!!!
