This is by far the best rendition of Hamburger Helper ever. I use a very lean meat, usually very lean beef (90/10) or sometimes turkey. I usually double the amount for a family. And I put in a pack of frozen veggies (Usually Corn or Mixed Veggies for the Cheeseburger variety, Peas & Carrots or Mixed Veggies for the Stroganoff version). Sometimes for extra zing I use Sour Cream for part or all of the milk, with some of my own seasonings for cooking the meat. Please do not stop making this product, and PLEASE force stores to carry this version. Some stores have stopped carrying it when there are those of us that still want to purchase this version than your original. I have stopped using all un-natural MSG products and this suits my needs for a good quick meal.

I make it with Mornings Star vegetarian burger crumbles and it is yummy!

Thank you so much for finally offering an MSG free alternative. Hamburger Helper used to be one of my favorite dinner meals but I have been unable to enjoy them for many years. I used to make it at least a couple times a week and really missed having an easy dinner option.(The MSG began to cause migraines, strokes, and seizures. It also triggered asthma attacks in my step daughter.) Again thank you for removing the MSG I will be buying it regularly again.

Always pleased to see "healthier" version in the store, and I had a coupon so picked up a couple boxes. Tonight I cooked up a pound of lean hamburger, drained the oil and then put back one tablespoon to saute 1/2 cup of each - Onions & Bell peppers. Then added the balance of the ingredients per the instructions. Have always added a shake or two of black pepper to HH's. Paired with fresh Brussel Sprouts from the garden, tonight's dinner was lovely!! My husband and I each had 1 cup servings, my teenage son polished off the pan so no left overs for me to have for lunch tomorrow. :(

I am extremely excited to see BC come out with a product that does not contain the neurotoxin monosodium glutamate! Now because I am paranoid, please also don't include in the ingredients the words "natural flavors". Some unnamed companies *cough* tried to hide the MSG fears by changing it's name and not the formula. In all seriousness, I am very glad to see this product available. I love the simplicity and time it takes to throw together these very delicious (and now perhaps nutritious) meal.

This is absolutely wonderful ! I added mushrooms, and just a couple spoonfuls of sour cream with a sprinkle of fresh parsley ! I'm so glad that you have added the whole wheat pasta to your line of great products !

I really like the flavor of the sauce, and I like the healthier whole wheat pasta. I have used ground turkey, as well as beef in place of the hamburger. I have also added mushrooms for a different twist.

I was happy to see BC come out with a more wholesome hamburger helper! I cannot have msg because it causes migraines. I am also a diabetic so I need to have whole grain pastas to help control my blood sugar. Our diabetic counselor took us to a grocery and taught us to look at labels and I was shocked to see one of my favorite meals, HH, contained msg, so I had to quit using it. The more wholesome version doesn't contain it and although it was a bit bland for my tastes, it cooked up just like the old version I loved. Please continue to provide products without msg and with whole grains!
