We love the Beef Pasta at our house. It is an all time favorite. Very interesting reading about not using milk and just adding water. I wonder if it brings out a beefier taste?

My family loves this HH...but I must admit we do add the 'MILK' to ours. However to not dilute from the 'beef' flavor I substitute 1-cup of water for 1-cup of beef broth. It works great and you still have the added beef flavor and the creaminess of the milk. It's a win-win!!! BTW: My family treats the 'Beef Pasta' HH similar to the way we make the 'Salisbury' HH, so all I do is add in a can of mixed veggies and a can of diced tomatoes. We then top each serving with a generous sprinkle of shredded cheddar-jack cheese. (Plus the best part is adding in the extra couple can of veggies give you 2 to 3 extra servings… which is a must nowadays ;D)

We love this one. I add a dash or two of Italian seasoning and some dehydrated onion my family loves it!

Tried both and definitely prefer without the milk. You get a better beefy flavor using water. It's great with garlic bread...A family favorite.

Without the milk for sure, It seems as though they want to add dairy to EVERY flavor. Namely cheese. I can't eat cheese, therefore I guess I won't be able to eat hamburger helper any more after 30 years of loving it! There is literally about 3% of their recipes that don't have cheese in them now! Bad call, Betty Crocker!

I like this better with just water and no milk. This option used to be on the box, before they were changed. Not using milk will throw the nutrition information off. It will also reduce the calorie content.
