I love HB Helper Meals. I always find myself "doctoring" them up. A cheap meal in a box, and simple. I saute individually one at the time, and put them in a bowl. Saute one onion, remove. Saute one large chicken breast, cut up in small pieces, remove. Scramble 2 eggs, remove. While all of the above ingredients are in bowl. Follow directions on box, using water, rice and seasoning. Simmer until done. Add all ingredients from the bowl to the cooked down rice. This keeps the dish from being gummy and is very tasteful. Add soy sauce to taste. ENJOY!

Your chicken fried rice looked and sounded like a great idea when I purchased it, but what a total letdown when I ate it. It was absolutely tasteless. My husband made me stop buying cheeseburger macaroni because of the crummy taste. I decided to buy the chicken fried rice, which filled him up, but in my opinion had no taste what so ever. Do you think you can improve it?? I hope so. I love how easy and quick it is make HH and CH; just give them some flavor!!

I loved the old Asian helper. The new chicken fried rice was too gummy and I prefer to add frozen peas and carrots. I add a can of chicken breast frozen peas, sliced water chestnuts, and toasted slivered almonds, plus the two scrambled eggs.

I love this product! I add diced onions to the chicken and a can of peas or frozen package of mixed vegetables (microwaved) a few minutes before serving! My family loves it! I live In Louisiana and we have great food here,so I feel my family are a group if very selective eaters! My 2 married sons and their families love when I make this for them, including picky grandchildren ! I am surprised more people are not going crazy over this product. Also, putt a little Cajun seasoning( tony cachera) to the chicken while sautéing ! Wonderful wonderful product, just wish it was more available in the store!

If you wanted something that resembled "Chicken Fried Rice", or what you would assume it would be, don't look here. However, it doesn't taste bad. In fact, I would label it its own unique dish, instead of what it implies. If you're looking for a moist blob of flavor that's surprisingly good for what it looks like, look no further.
