I found a piece of glass in my bread flour bag this morning. Thank goodness I was making the bread by hand. I shudder to think what would have happened if this had gotten by me. Has anyone else found something like this? I ran the rest of the flour through a sieve and didn't find any more.

I have been using your bread flour for years. I bought 5 lb. bag and found that instead of being white, the bread flour was tan! What gives.. I am very disappointed as I can't think of anyone who likes tan pizza dough!! Help!

My mother used Gold Medal since I can remember. When I started baking, I used it too. But I have had occasions when it was not available, and I had to use other brands. In one case, I was disappointed in the results, in the other, I paid nearly twice as much. Gold Medal provides consistent good results at a price that's right.

I do all of my baking and cooking from scratch. I was at the store restocking supplies did not have my normal brand. I purchased this instead. I know have a new Brand. My bread turned out light and fluffy. And this brand is cheaper than the previous brand I had been Buying..I just need to figure out if and where I can get it in 25 to 50 lbs packaging.

I received a Hitachi Bread Machine for Christmas in 1992. I have baked at least 2 loaves of bread since then -- 18 years! -- and always use Gold Medal Better For Bread flour. It really makes the perfect loaf of bread no matter what recipe I try or make up on my own. I now have a newer Hitachi (my old one died) which I found (unused) from a friend storing things in our garage and which had never been used. I am using a bread recipe clipped off of one of your bags of flour many years ago which is one of my favorites.

Gold Medal Better for Bread Flour and Whole Wheat Flour are the best. I agree, I can never find a coupon for either product.

After trying some other brands, I have found Gold Medal Better for Bread flour is better for bread, and at a lower price. In these tough times, you can spend more, but you won't get better.

I was surprised at how light and fluffy my biscuits and pancakes came out when I used this flower.
