Another 5# bag of Gold Medal All Purpose Flour. Another disaster trying to get it open. Am I the only one having a hard time opening bags of flour??? I manage to tear almost every one. My idea is that every member of the executive staff of General Mills ought to go to the production facility floor and open 5 bags of flour, just to see what we are going through out here in Consumer World. Love the flour - can't say the same for the way the bags work!

can somebody please tell me what is the difference between all purpose and self rising flour and whichone is best for cakes. I have to use in the recepe yeast. So if I use self rising flour I don't have to use yeast anymore? Thank you
