take half the box, mix with 3 T crunchy peanut butter and one egg---bake for a great chocolate chip peanut butter cookie! Makes a great sheet of large cookies! WONDERFUL!!!!!

This is a good cookie mix that is easy to get. We also like the Brownie Mix and the Devil's Food Cake mix. We do not like the Yellow Cake Mix. It tasted like sweet cornbread.

I just finished eating the first 5 of the cookies I made from this box. My boyfriend tried them, but complained about their gritty-ness. By I, on the other hand, have been craving chocolate chip cookies for over a month now and, after giving in to 1/2 of a gluten-full chocolate chip cookie which broke me out into hives a couple days later, I found this box on the shelf, staring right back at me, saying, "Try me!" So, I did! Although, the box did not state HOW much cookie mix to mix in with the whole stick of butter, the vanilla and the 1 egg. So, I put the whole (19 oz) bag in. I hope I made it right! Even so, they were SO delicous and made the whole house smell edible! LoLz I can't wait to buy them again! *YUMMY!*

My 5 year old Daughter has been Wheat and Dairy Free for only 4 months now. We are lucky to have a Wonderful Gluten Free Backery Down the Street. They a very pricey though, but the have awesome sweets. Thought I would Try these when I saw them in the store. A lot Cheaper that $2.50 a cookie from the Bakery. I used Smart-Balance Light butter, instead of regular butter (Very soft). They turn out abosolutely wonderful and not dry at all. We all loved them. THe reviews about them being crumbly, I think the butter used was not soft enough. I will certainly buy them again!

I just found out that I have Celiac's and will have to be on a gluten free diet. I bought a box of your chocolate chip cookie mix and found them delicious. The problem is it contains soy, which I know is alright since it is gluten free, but my problem is, that some soy products contain "MSG" and I suffer from migrane headaches. Since I am new to this diet, I have been having a hard time finding products in my area and my diet has been very limited. So when I got the migrane I knew exactly everything I had eaten that day and had put eveything into the computer and broken down the ingredients and could only could come up with the possibility of the soy with MSG. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for the choc chip cookie mix! They are the best! I make several batches of assorted Betty Crocker gfree recipes and freeze in lock and lock containers - they keep like fresh in the freezer. We can have a delicious treat anytime and everyone can pick which treat they want! Out of curiousity, I recently tried another g free choc chip cookie mix from a name brand company and they didn't even come close to yours! Will not ever buy another brand again!

First of all, having the GF option is wonderful. Thank you, Betty Crocker. The Cookie mix itself was pretty good; however, I did have to add an additional egg to make it "dough" rather than a sandy mess. Yes, the dough has a bit of a gritty taste, but that is from the white rice flour. As for the finished product, they tasted like a regular homemade cookie that had a little too much flour in it. Overall, I was satisfied and it I plan on giving them another try in the future.

For those who find the gritty part unappealing. That's the rice flour. try lettting them set a while in the fridge so the flour has time to soak up liquid. Makes a big difference in rice flour products.

My boys ages 2 and 8 and daughter age 17 loved these cookies! We all could not tell they were gluten free. A bit expensive, but when it's your health and you want something yummy it is well worth it! We added extra chocolate chips (Nestle milk chocolate chips are gluten free). Yummy!
