this is sooo good. yes, there was a white layer on top, but after stirring it, it was fine. in a way, it's kind of a mix between a frosting and a glaze. it's thick, but is also runny and some-what pourable, but i liked the effect it had on my cake. i will totally use this again!

I purchased a can of your coconut pecan frostening and when i opened the tin cover there was a layer of white something. The can was only half to three fourths full also. After returning the can to the store and getting a new one I opened it and the same white layer of what I can only assume is oil was formed on top. After stirring and putting in the freezer to cool and thicken I frosted my cake and as soon as it came to room temp it started coming off of my cake. I don't think I will be using this product again, sadly, because I usually like betty crocker.

Very disappointed in MI said: Posted: 8/30/2011 11:33 AM
I am very disappointed with this frosting. First of all, when you open the can, it's about 3/4 full, and then when you stir it up, it goes down to about a half a can. Not much frosting. Second, when I finally finished frosting a layer cake (which I had to use two cans for), it's so runny that the frosting between the layers just soaked into the cake. Yes, my cake was completely cooled. The frosting on the top and sides of the cake just slid down and I have a pool of frosting on the plate. I normally am very happy with Betty Crocker products. But this is the 3rd time I've given this a try and still have the same problems. Pillsbury is starting to look pretty good lately.

First this 14.5 oz is billed as 1 lb. Second the carton was barely 3/4 full Third it will not frost two 8 inch cakes
