I make these cookies for my 98 year old father. He said they were as good as the ones his mother used to make for him when he was a child, which to me was the ULTIMATE compliment!

Absolutely the best cookie mix ever!!!!! Prefer this over chocolate chip now and NEVER thought I would say that. If you try this mix, be SURE to roll the cookies in turbinado (raw) sugar before baking...something rich will become mind-boggling!

My husband and I LOVE this cookie mix. It is so addictive, however in my area of Glendale the stores aren't carring it anymore. (Ralphs, Vons, etc) Which is a shame because it is so good. I did find it in Santa Barbara, and online (amazon.com) which is where I will be buying it for the future.
