Likewise, I am totally disappointed with the new mix. These brownies were my signature treat I brought to meetings with students and they LOVED them. The new mix is hum drum at best. With all this feedback - why wouldn't you return to the original product everyone loved? It was a pain to have to go to BJ's in order to buy it but I loved and everyone I baked for loved it enough I would drive 20 miles round trip to buy it. I even contemplated a BJ's membership SOLELY for the purpose of buying this brownie mix.

Whoever suggested the change in the Triple Chunk Brownies should find new employment. I threw the brownies out after making them -- couldn't even finish one piece; sickenly sweet, lack of chocolate flavor, disgusting. After all the negative reviews and no changes to improve the product, guess it's all about rying to make a quick buck with no thought to the future of the product (or company?).

I agree with the reviews. The new recipe is horrible. I forgot about that when I just bought a box today. I am trying to remember the old recipe. I think it was 3 Tbsp water, 1/2 Cup of oil and 2 eggs. I am just not sure if it was 1 or 2 eggs, the other items (water & oil I am sure about). I also am disappointed in the pan size. Like everyone else, I would take these everywhere and they would be gone instantly. Now,I would not dare to bring them anywhere. I am going to try the old way with this box and hope they come out like they used to.

The new Triple Chunk Brownie is terrible. I used to take it to every pot-luck and for special occasions. I even had friends request that I bring the brownies. Whenever I took brownies, they were always eaten entirely. When the mix changed, the consistency was different, and the taste was horrible. I had to throw away almost the whole pan. I gave it a couple of tries and even sent in a complaint to Betty Crocker. But, no one from your company responded. I looked for another brand to use, and found Duncan Hines - chewy fudge brownies. I mixed it up and added a bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and the result was fantastic! It was very close to your original mix. When I took it to my office earlier this week, everyone enjoyed the brownies and were so happy that I brought them. Needless to say, I did not have to throw away the pan! I still keep checking the market for your former mix, but still you have not decided to bring it back. So, I will be passing the word on. If you want a great brownie mix, get Duncan Hines!

I thought I was going crazy when I made these brownies the other day. I saw the pan size was 11 by 7, and I knew something had changed. Why such a strange pan size? I would rather pay a little more money then for Betty Crocker to change everything in these brownies. I have all ready bought other brands, I won't buy Betty Crocker again. Thanks Betty!!

Hey geniuses-- Not sure what brand manager decided to cut costs and change the recipe, but this went from being one of the best brownie recipes to the absolute worst. As mixed, the brownie batter will not even fill my pan. adios morons.

This was the BEST brownie recipe and was the only one I used- to rave reviews. The last time I made it I thought I made a mistake. This time, I came online to see if they changed the recipe. And guess what, so they did. What a HUGE disappointment. Why would they change that mix? It's beyond comprehension. The old mix was fudgey with a crispy crusty finish. The one one is cakey with a weird semi dry, semi uncooked batter, texture. It also makes about 2/3 the number of brownies the old one did. I am on the hunt for a new brownie mix. What a mess Betty Crocker. I cannot believe your food scientists went SO WRONG. You've lost me until you come out with a triple chocolate "classic" version.

The new smaller boxes of the Triple Chunk Brownies are very disappointing and very frustrating. After providing feedback to Betty Crocker, all I got was a "thanks for your feedback" generic letter. If you read these posts Betty Crocker, please fix this problem!!!! Bring back the old Triple Chunk!!

Severely disappointed with the new recipe for Triple Chunk! Does anyone have a recipe that I can use to repeat my beloved Triple Chunk Brownie?

Well, I only came to website to get some new ideas, but decided to read reviews, as I noticed they didn't have good ratings. Well, I think after reading these reviews and they are all negative...I'm not going to waste my time with this mix! I'll make brownies from scratch! No wonder they were on sale at the store...and I thought I was getting a great deal with a coupon!
