I have been baking your Original Supreme Brownies forever. Why did you change them? You used to be able to bake a 13x9 pan of brownies from the box and they tasted GREAT! Now, you have put less product in the box, and say to use a smaller pan. What happened to your GREAT brownie mix? I miss it!,,

NASTY! I followed the directions on the box and the brownies did not taste good. After I mixed all the ingredients together, the mix seemed to be really dry so I double checked the ingredients on the box again to make sure I didn't inadvertently leave out an ingredient. Everything was correct according to the box. When I tried to spread it out in the pan there wasn't enough to cover the bottom of the pan. I cooked the brownies according to the directions and let them cool. I took them over to a friends house to have for dessert after dinner. YUCK! I was embarrassed. The brownies were so THIN and chewy (not in a good way). Someone said it was like chewing on BROWNIE GUM. I'm very dissatisfied with this product and will not be buying Betty Crocker brownies anymore.

I had the same problem as the rest of the posters. Who ever decided to change the amount of mix in the brownie box and still charge the same price should be shot. I now have to use two boxes instead of one to make a nice size brownie in a 13x9 baking pan to get them to turn out gooey like I like them. What a rip off you have to waste money and buy two to make one batch any more and also noticed there are no longer any coupons in the paper or online to use on them. shame on you Betty Crocker!

I too have made these brownies forever and everyone loved them. I made them tonight, noticed the instructions were different but still did the way I used to: 2 eggs, 1/3 oil, 1/4 water but they are horrible. Very dry and flat and they used to be very gooey. I am very disappointed and now on the search for a new brownie mix. Hopefully Betty Crocker people will read our posts and fix this problem!!!

I can only echo the sentiments that have been expressed by previous customers. During my three years working through grad school, I made these brownies when I needed a chocolate fix after a hard week. But now I get my fix elsewhere and don't make brownies anymore. I really did not appreciate all the changes made to the mix without a change in the name; that's like building a Ford for many years and then one day taking the Ford body and putting it on a Chevy chassis and engine!

Same mix as the old version, just less of it and improper baking instructions. To get the same old brownies, use the instructions from the old 22.5 oz box, spend a minute to do the math to scale it down for the new 18.4 oz box. This will involve adding an extra egg yolk. Got great results in a toaster oven.

These have always been the best brownies. I use spring water, and olive oil when making them. The original recipe was the best and I made them in a 13 x 9 pan, but since they have reduced the amount in the package and changed the ingredients, they are still very good, but not enough batter for the 13 x 9 pan anymore, so I have to find the right size pan. Oh, yeah and like every other company, they have reduced the amount in the package, and kept the price the same or increased it.

Horrible! Even after downsizing to the correct size pan, the mix is stiff, hard to spread out when using the ingredients specified, and nothing at all like they used to be. I bought three boxes, and two are going in the trash. I'll think twice about buying another Betty Crocker product after the way they ruined the brownie mix. I'd rather pay more and get the product it used to be.

I was disappointed after making the brownies (without looking at the box as I have been making them from the beginning of time)and putting them in my "brownie baking pan" to discover it's no longer the correct size. Please, please give our original brownies back!!!!!

I knew I wasn't going crazy! I grew up making theses brownies with my Gram RIP, and have noticed a BIG change in this recipe.... The new recipe stinks! The batter comes out too hard and there's so little now. The old recipe made the batter so thick and creamy, and it took some effort to mix, which I liked. And the way the old recipe came out, the brownies would come so thick and light and yummy! Shame on you Betty Crocker!
