I can only echo the sentiments that have been expressed by previous customers. During my three years working through grad school, I made these brownies when I needed a chocolate fix after a hard week. But now I get my fix elsewhere and don't make brownies anymore. I really did not appreciate all the changes made to the mix without a change in the name; that's like building a Ford for many years and then one day taking the Ford body and putting it on a Chevy chassis and engine!

Same mix as the old version, just less of it and improper baking instructions. To get the same old brownies, use the instructions from the old 22.5 oz box, spend a minute to do the math to scale it down for the new 18.4 oz box. This will involve adding an extra egg yolk. Got great results in a toaster oven.

These have always been the best brownies. I use spring water, and olive oil when making them. The original recipe was the best and I made them in a 13 x 9 pan, but since they have reduced the amount in the package and changed the ingredients, they are still very good, but not enough batter for the 13 x 9 pan anymore, so I have to find the right size pan. Oh, yeah and like every other company, they have reduced the amount in the package, and kept the price the same or increased it.

Horrible! Even after downsizing to the correct size pan, the mix is stiff, hard to spread out when using the ingredients specified, and nothing at all like they used to be. I bought three boxes, and two are going in the trash. I'll think twice about buying another Betty Crocker product after the way they ruined the brownie mix. I'd rather pay more and get the product it used to be.

I was disappointed after making the brownies (without looking at the box as I have been making them from the beginning of time)and putting them in my "brownie baking pan" to discover it's no longer the correct size. Please, please give our original brownies back!!!!!

I knew I wasn't going crazy! I grew up making theses brownies with my Gram RIP, and have noticed a BIG change in this recipe.... The new recipe stinks! The batter comes out too hard and there's so little now. The old recipe made the batter so thick and creamy, and it took some effort to mix, which I liked. And the way the old recipe came out, the brownies would come so thick and light and yummy! Shame on you Betty Crocker!

I too like the rest am known for exceptional brownies. I'm known as "Auntie Brownie" for my nieces and nephew sports team. Since they lessened the amount in the box, I can't get them to come out the same. I love the dark chocolate which is extremely difficult to find now. I used to use 2 boxes in a 9x17 and they were amazing. Now I have to use 3 boxes and they still don't come out quite the same. I'd rather pay more for the 21 oz and have my old delicious brownies back. Please bring it back!

I bought this brownie mix last week. It was my first time using this mix and I have to say I had a great experience with it. I used 1 box and a 9x13 pan. I followed the directions and the brownies came out chewy and delicious. I don't know what everyone else is talking about but then again this is my first experience with this mix so maybe I just had beginner's luck. I'd buy again. On a side note. I bought the Fudge Brownie Mix this week and those brownies don't even compare to the Original Supreme.

I have to agree with all of the previous reviews. I made the original mix for years and everyone loved my brownies. I made this new batch several times and each time greatly disappointed. PLEASE bring back the original recipe. I would rather pay more for a box, but I will not buy these again. I will be looking for another brand unless the original is returned.

C'mon Betty Crocker, why did you ruin a fantastic product? I was worried when I saw how small the box was so I doubled the recipe for each batch. They just came out of the oven and instead of being thick and delicious looking, the cooling batches look like thin, shrunken, pygmies. These brownies are a supposed to be a special reward for my 6th grade students. I can't beleive I actually bragged that I made the absolute best, most delicious brownies in the world! I'm already embarrassed and now I’m worried about how they will taste! I trusted the "Betty Crocker" and "Brownies Supreme" names but if the other reviewers are correct and you changed the size AND the recipe you can count me as another loyal customer lost. In this day of busy schedules yours was the one treat I could always count on to taste delicious and homemade. This is such a letdown.
