i made this yesterday and instead of oil, i added 4 oz of cinnamon applesauce to cut down on the fat. I also added some semi sweet chocolate chunks - about a handful. YUMMY!!!!

LOVE this product and have been using it for years! I make it my own with a little add on and get compliments EVERY time I serve them. I make these brownies weekly to bring as a thank you to a place my daughter receives therapy and they are waiting at the table when I arrive! My only complaint, and it's a big one, is that they changed the size of the product so it only makes an 8x8 pan. It used to make a 9x13 pan. The price stayed the same for less product. I now have to buy 2 boxes at a time, instead of one. I do this every week so it gets expensive. As much as I love this product, I've found myself buying the competitor's brand that makes a 9 x 13 and is often on sale : ( Wish it would go back to the 9 X 13 size!

This mix is excellent, just as good as the fudge brownies with the same texture, but a deeper color and flavor. I swirled some raspberry puree into mine--divine!
