Chocolate Tasting Party

Girls Night In Chocolate Tasting

Chocolate and just about any dessert made with it is one of life’s pleasures. Tasting chocolate is a celebration. And who better to celebrate with than girlfriends! Tasting chocolate together will be a night to remember.

Tips from the Experts

Karen

"Create a cocoa bar with thermal carafes filled with hot milk or water, a selection of cocoa mixes, and flavored syrups."

Make It a Special Party!

  • Rich chocolate browns and silvery hues are your color cues, taken from beautiful chocolate wrappers.  Use these colors for invites, plates, napkins, note cards or note pads for opinions and notes, pencils.

  • Celebrate the birthday girl.  Bake a cake with one of these chocolate cake recipes.

  • Re-charge your book club or start a reading group. Do book titles search with ‘chocolate’—there’re not just cookbooks out there!

  • Valentine’s time is definitely a chocolate occasion.  When getting together around that time recipes search results using ‘heart’ or ‘Valentine’ point you to seasonal chocolate choices.  Color this get-together red!

Make the Most of Your Time

  • Early in the day or evening before, prepare one or more of the ‘taste treats’ or prep for meal you’ve chosen.

  • Prepare each guest a plate of the chocolates to be tasted. Make sure guests know which is which. Or taste ‘blind’ (without knowing the identity) by coding with numbers if chocolates vary greatly in price!
