The cost per serving was calculated using national supermarket average price per ingredient based on Nielsen Scanner Data (May 2012). These costs are guidelines and may vary due to regional and seasonal prices. Some ingredients may be less expensive at club stores, discount supermarkets, farmers’ markets and co-ops. Ingredients purchased on sale and using coupons will help reduce the cost per serving, too.
