Cute little cupcakes are fun for your Easter celebration!
These cupcakes were a huge hit with the little bunnies that live in my house...and put big smiles on their faces. Making them might look complicated, but they are easy as can be. Start off by using Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® strawberry cake mix to bake cupcakes in pink liners.
Melt white and pink candy melts and pour into squeeze bottles. (If you don’t have squeeze bottles, you can put the chocolate into a plastic bag. Cut a small hole in the corner and use it as a piping bag.) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and draw bunny ears with the white chocolate. Fill in the bunny ears with the pink chocolate. Chill until firm.
When the cupcakes are cool, frost the top and smooth into a rounded shape for the bunny head.
Add two mini chocolate chips for the eyes, a pink candy for the nose and an upside-down candy heart for the mouth. Break a somen noodle into 6 pieces, and add 3 to each side for whiskers. (Somen noodles are thin, white noodles that can be found in the Asian section of the grocery store.)
Press two ears into each cupcake.
To make the bunny tail, dip a white candy-coated chocolate into some of the melted white chocolate. Adhere it to the cupcake liner by holding it for 30 seconds or so until it sets.
And there you have it—the cutest little pink bunnies all ready for your Easter celebration!
