DIY Kitchen Crafts

These 3 fun and clever crafts are easy to make with items you have in your kitchen!

DIY Bubbles

Next time your bubble containers are empty, don’t ditch them for new ones. Instead, save the containers and make your own for pennies on the dollar.

DIYPlayDough

DIY Play Dough

How about that craft dough the kids love so much? You can make that, too! And because we color the dough with powdered drink packets, it smells incredible. You can make as many colors as there are drink packets! Once you’ve made the dough, pop each into a resealable plastic bag to store them. When the kids are ready to play, break out cookie cutters and rolling pins, and let the kids go to town.

DIYSidewalkPaint

DIY Sidewalk Paint

Sidewalk paint can be super pricey in the stores. With three simple ingredients, you can make your own and have hours of fun. Just pick up paint brushes and foam rollers. You’ll have a one-of-a-kind driveway and sidewalk when the kids are done. Don’t worry…it washes off with a hose or on the next rainy day.

So go ahead and get crafty. Your kids will love it (and you’ll get a kick out of it, too)!

Whether it’s summertime, the weekend or after school, kids like to be entertained. With a few ingredients from your pantry, you can whip up crafts that will keep the kids occupied for hours (or at least that’s the plan).
