How to Cook with Beer

By Inspired Taste
Created January 10, 2017
Our three tips make it a breeze to infuse foods with the mouthwatering flavor of beer.

The easiest way to start cooking with beer is to think about when you love to drink it. For us, we love beer with easy comfort foods. It just works, you know? Here we show three ways you can personalize your favorite foods by adding beer.

CheesyBeerBiscuits

1. Biscuits and Brew. At the top of our list of comfort foods is bread but, more specifically, biscuits. Flaky, warm biscuits. We cannot get enough of these cheesy beer biscuits. Oh, man, we love them! They’re super easy, too. Grab your Bisquick® baking mix, some beer and cheese and bake.

SpinachArtichokeBeerDip

2. Suds and Spinach Dip. We love any recipe with “dip” in the name. This already delish spinach and artichoke dip gets really fabulous with beer. We just know you’re going to love this one! You can serve the dip warm (the way we like it) or cold. Either way, you’ll want to make a double batch.

BagelsBeerCreamCheese

3. Beer for Breakfast? One of our absolute favorite weekend breakfasts is bagels and lox. So we thought, why not switch it up and beer-ify it! Grab an everything bagel then slather on a cheesy beer spread. Instead of smoked salmon or lox, top with roast beef and thinly sliced onions. So delicious!

There you have it—three fun and easy ways to add beer to your cooking. Pop open a bottle and get cooking!
