Greek Yogurt Cheesecake

Yoplait® Greek yogurt replaces cream cheese for a healthy twist to a can’t-miss, orange-flavored cheesecake everyone will love!

Cheesecake has always been one of my guilty pleasures. All of my girlfriends love it so much that, instead of regular cake on our birthdays, we make each other cheesecake. Creamy and decadent, cheesecakes are usually pretty fatty. After experimenting with different ways to make them lower in fat and calories, I finally found a great way to decrease the fat without sacrificing taste or that creamy texture.

For my cheesecakes, I now make them with Yoplait® Greek yogurt. It’s fat free and is loaded with protein. Because Greek yogurt is thick and creamy, the texture of the cheesecake still comes out wonderfully. For this recipe, I added lots of fresh orange zest, but you could also use lemon or lime.


The crust is made with graham crackers and walnuts. The walnuts add lots of flavor and nutrition. I serve the cheesecake topped with fresh whipped cream and an orange slice. You can also add fresh berries.
