Mini Chocolate-Peanut Butter Pies

By Jessica Walker

Is there any better flavor combo than chocolate and peanut butter? These mini pies are so delicious and so easy!

For me, nothing can beat the flavor pairing of chocolate and peanut butter. And I don't think you can go wrong with mini desserts because you can enjoy one with little guilt. (That is my mantra anyway!) So when I was given the task of coming up with a yummy dessert using new Cheerios® Peanut Butter flavor, there was no way I could do it without chocolate! That's how my Mini Chocolate Peanut Butter Pies were born.

Here is what you need…Cheerios® Peanut Butter, chocolate pudding, whipped topping, butter and peanut butter.

Let me show you how to make the crust. First, using a food processor (or your handy rolling pin and some muscle), crush the Cheerios.

Add melted butter and sugar; mix well.

Line your mini muffin pans.

Spoon 1 tablespoon cereal mixture into each muffin cup. (You can also use a small scoop for this job. Seriously, that's my favorite kitchen tool right now.). Press the mixture into the cups with the back of a spoon.

Bake 7 minutes and then cool in the pan for 15 minutes.

Fold whipped topping into prepared chocolate pudding. Spoon 1 tablespoon pudding mixture into each cooled cup. Top each with whipped topping and drizzle with melted peanut butter.

They may be bite-sized, but these mini pudding pies are full of chocolatey flavor!
