If you’ve never tried your hand at baking a batch of scones, then you are missing out! Whether smothered in jam or speckled with fruits and nuts, a well-crafted scone is a perfect mate to a cup of dark coffee. Try a seasonal take on this satisfying treat with these deliriously good Apple-Pear Salted-Caramel Scones!

Ingredients for scones

Cut the chilled butter into the dry ingredients using a pastry blender.

Then stir in peeled and chopped apple and pear.

Once you’ve stirred in the wet ingredients to form a loose dough, turn the dough out onto a surface covered lightly with Bisquick® and knead a few times to form into a solid dough

Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a circle. Cut each circle into 6 wedges, then transfer wedges to a lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake scones until they’re golden brown and puffy.

Let the scones cool slightly, then drizzle tops with the caramel sauce. Sprinkle tops lightly with sea salt and enjoy!
