  Mushrooms, Portabella

Dark brown mushrooms with an open, flat cap. Extremely large, they can be 6 inches in diameter. Portabellas are fully mature mushrooms so their gills are fully exposed, resulting in some loss of moisture. This, though, deepens the flavor and creates a meaty texture.
