Thanksgiving from the Betty Crocker Kitchen® Experts

Ever wonder what it would be like to have Thanksgiving dinner with an expert from the Betty Crocker Kitchens? Take a peek inside the lives of four of our experts and get some tips along the way. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Cheri Olerud, editor of eight health-themed cookbooks, has the privilege of working with medical professionals as well as everyday people watching their weight, diabetes or heart health. Growing up in a large family, Cheri continues the tradition of everyone helping including all the kids. Find homemade wheat rolls and lots of fresh veggies and condiments on her T'gving table. There's always a long walk after an early dinner and before the Apple Crostata. She and her family ring bells for the Salvation Army the day after.
Jackie Sheehan has been a life long foodie. She creates the recipe magazines you find at the supermarket checkout and newstands.  Jackie's challenge growing up was to bake cinnamon rolls every week for her family of nine. So it's no surprise that Jackie always brings Thanksgiving pies. The kids are thrilled when she also brings Turkey Cookies. Her tip for hostessing holiday gatherings is "use a slow cooker to keep the mashed potatoes moist and hot." It saves a serving dish as well.
Praline Pumpkin Cake Ann Stuart is a baking expert in the kitchens. Follow her recipes as she brings inspiration from a trip to France she was awarded this fall. Three generations of bakers including her daughter fill their homes with wonderful aromas. Ann is charged with bringing dessert to her Thanksgiving celebration - always something pumpkin and something chocolate.
Kristen Olson is the "newbie" to the Betty Crocker®  Kitchens - you'll find her in the kitchens often dreaming up great new recipes. She admits her twin didn't get the "foodie" genes. Kristen covers three Thanksgiving celebrations over a two-day period! This year she'll be bringing a new cornbread stuffing with spicy sausage to all three events. The recipe's in a new supermarket recipe magazine - look for it in the supermarket.
