This recipe was inspired with this in mind and the many favorite cakes and desserts I have made to share with neighbors and co-workers. I wanted an easy, satisfying bar cookie that brought together wonderful flavors and textures. I shared this recipe with co-workers of mine and my husband, where it was met with rave reviews. I even had one suggestion to call them “Freakin’ Delicious!” Doesn’t that say it all!!”
