“Almost every nationality has some version of a Celebration or Wedding cookie. I find that whenever I include them on a cookie plate or take them to an occasion, they bring smiles and often stories about special memories. I wanted to add a new, updated flair to this classic cookie with the Chai spices. Everyone who has tried the end result has raved about them.
I am part of a cooking club that does the advance preparation for breakfasts and lunches for a small private school in inner city Richmond that was established to help students who are at risk of not completing their high school education. The students baked the recipe to help check the clarity of the instructions and to help them learn more about other nationalities and spices. They gave the cookies a big thumbs up!”
