I wish to have a laptop and internet

Because 13-year-old Rashondria is diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition, she often has to stay in the hospital, away from school and her friends. Despite her medical challenges, Rashondria has always kept a positive attitude by surrounding herself with her favorite things and keeping in touch with her friends.

When Make-A-Wish Foundation^® volunteers asked Rashondria about her ultimate wish, she asked to have a laptop so she could connect with her friends online while in the hospital and out of school. The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Betty Crocker^® provided Rashondria with a brand-new Dell laptop customized to fit her interests. Volunteers loaded her computer with music and games and set it up for wireless Internet access. Rashondria loves updating her friends on Facebook and listening to pop music.

With her laptop to keep her connected, Rashondria says her days in the hospital don’t seem nearly as long anymore.
