Finger foods.

My family & I are attending a get togather on Christmas Day! We were told they would be serving finger foods, so my question is: Any ideas on what we could take? Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks!

2 cans flaky layer biscuit dough

1 1/2 c. chopped cooked ham

1 green bell pepper

1/2 c. onion

1 c. shredded swiss cheese

1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

(you can use 2 c. cheddar if you don't like swiss)

1 good squirt of mustard (about 1 Tbsp.)

Chop ham, onion, and pepper into tiny little pieces. Chuck everything but biscuit dough in the bowl and stir that stuff up! Keep 1 can of dough in fridge until needed. Open other can of dough and separate biscuits into 2 equal layers. Roll dough circles nice and thin (not too much or they will break). Spoon filling onto rolled out circles and seal edges together by pinching them with your fingers. Lay them seam side down onto a cookie. sheet. They should resemble something like a ball. Keep going until your dough and filling are used up. If you have extra dough just bake it and eat the biscuits with soup. Too much filling left? save it for a super delish omelet. Arrange biscuit on cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake in a 375 degree oven until deep golden brown. If temp on roll dough can says different follow the packs temp instructions. Baking times will vary oven to oven so keep an eye on them.

For a festive idea: Arrange the stuffed dough balls onto the cookie sheet in a wreath or Christmas tree pattern. When doing this you want to get the dough balls close to eachother but not touching. The dough does expand and they will cook into each other, and that is what you want. When you serve it guests can just pull a piece off. If you want to cook them separately, you can still arrange them in this festive pattern after they are cooked. Either way, they are a sure fire way to please everyone! They taste just like a hot sub sandwich. I make them every year and they go immediately, they almost melt in your mouth.....I'm getting hungry just thinking about them Stick out tongue

Another thing I make every year is beef and turkey roll-ups. Super fast and easy

Just get some sliced beef and turkey from your local deli

a few packs or tortilla wraps

a couple containers of onion or garlic type cream cheese (there are alot of varieties just pick one thats kind of oniony it's your best bet)

then get a few packs of cheese provolone and cheddar are best but use your imagination

Then to put together just take a tortilla and spread flavored cream cheese on it, then put a layer of meat a layer of sliced cheese then slowly roll the tortilla up. Once rolled up insert toothpicks about a little over an inch or so apart. Then slice inbetween the toothpicks, keeping the toothpicks in arrange them on a platter. Once your done just cover and refrigerate until ready to eat. Beef and provolone, and Turkey and Cheddar are the best combinations, but you can use these or so many more combinations. You can even experiment with the different flavored cream cheeses or make your own flavored cream cheese. The skies the limit and they are really tasty! Oh yeah the super bonus!!!!!!! no baking involved!
