I don't remember how to get to chat room here, but I think you click on a subheading, and then post your questions, comments, etc.

All the ladies are very helpful and warm.   There should be plenty of action on the site the closer we get to the Superbowl.  I love all the goodies to make, don't you?  Who cares about the game, it's about the fun and the food.  Especially here in LA, since we have no NFL football team.

Hi gals, we don't have a live chat room here but you can start a "conversation" or forum thread. We just added the forums to the site in November, and we are so pleased that everyone is so enthusiastic!

Keep the comments and conversations coming!

Hello, I am new at this, so far I am lost. Hope to get the hang of things here. But one thing for sure I love to bake, and enjoy trying new recipes.

I bought a cookie presser, made the dough as it said on the recipe but my dough didn't come out of the silver plate as shown.Crying  and of course I made a mess. take care

Diamondrose: Don't distress about the failed attempt at spritz cookies. The same thing happened to me - every recipe needs tweaking, whether its the type of butter, flour, shape of disk, butter too warm and won't beat, or weather conditions or just the phase of the moon:) You learn by practice- soon you will recognize what the dough should look and feel like. Bake some test circles or trial cookies before you spritz a whole pan. Now I must make 4+ batches of "Brown Butter Maple Spritz" every Christmas because everyone loves them, and expects them. http://www.fooddownunder.com/cgi-bin/recipe.cgi?r=276 Good luck next time.
