Bisquick Pancake Ideas -- share your favorite way to serve them or secret tip to make them perfect.

I figure you can never have enough pancake ideas or tips. My husband and I have pancakes at least two weekends a month (and that's not including when we have them for dinner!). What do you all do with yours? Serve them with fruit? Make shapes?

National Pancake Day is coming up on February 12 so it's a timely topic. Big Smile

I like to add diced apples to the batter and I make my own cinnamon syrup to go with it.

Smile it could be worse.

me and my son love cinnimon sugar on our pancakes. we even take our own shaker to returants cause not to many of them have cinnimon sugar, and if they do, it's not enough or it has to be mixed.

I add lots of cinnamon and very small diced braeburn or jazz apples to the batter.

If I'm out of apples... frozen blueberries go well with cinnamon too!!

Yes, I'm curious about this cinnamon syrup too!!!

You are what you eat!

I love to add Pecans to the mix, at the table put on the butter, then a light amount of syrup, then strawberries and top with whipped cream! YUM!

My kids love this one. They ask for it all the time. I found it on Rachel Ray. peanut butter and jelly pancakes. You mix about a cup of peanut butter in the batter. then you heat jelly and water in a saucepan.

Hey everyone!  Nothing soecial in the batter but my husband makes silver dollar pancakes or really thin pancakes.  Just spoon your normal amt.  onto pan.  Pan must be hot.  Pick up pan and swirl the batter in the frying pan, but not too much, you don't want them too thin.  Here's the secret"  Slather lots of butter or margarine and then sprinkle with large amounts of powdered sugar!  Have a contest to see who can eat the most pancakes.  I bet you win 'cause they're sooooo good!Yes

What i like to do is put syrup and nuts on my pancakes.

Hello ZF,  Welcome to the BC site.  I've thought about chopping up some nuts and putting it the batter, but I've never thought of just putting 'em on top of the cakes!  Any particular kind of nuts, or does it matter? Let me know ok?  I bet you've got some great recipes and ideas to share, can't wait to see them.  You sound like my kind of cook,"keep it simple."  Take care!
