sasuage patties overload

I really need some easy or inventive recipes for sasuage patties. I really wish they were in rolls, but I went hog wild buying them last month! lol So I would love to see any recipes using them. After the holidays, I'm a little burned out turkey, ham and chicken. Any ideas?

Confused

Can't believe I spelled SAUSAGE incorrectly TWICE! lol Feels like Monday to me all over again...

Don't  let the shape of the sausage stop you from using them in different recipes.  Try diceing them  and browning them them add a pasta sauce to make a sausage flavored speghetti sauce.  Or, an alfredo sauce served over egg noodles.

I agree, don't let the shape cripple your creativity!  Thaw out a few of them & moosh it all together again. Then shape them into the link shape you prefer & pan-grill. Here are some other suggestions: Use the cooked, crumbled sausage in dressing -- what a flavor addition!  Make sausage balls with Bisquick & cheese. You can find the recipe on the web.  Pre-cook crumbled sausage and arrange it over refrigerated crescent rolls along with some shredded cheddar cheese, then roll it up & bake them. Try adding some Italian spices to it and using it like Italian sausage. Sprinkle it over a pizza. Add cooked crumbled sausage to a biscuit dough recipe.  If you cook the sausage and drain it well, you can add it to a cream cheese spread along with minced radish (take off the red or use white radishes), green onion & celery.

Hint: When frying sausage patties, quickly brown them on both sides, then reduce the heat and add sufficient water to reach the top of the patties. Cover and simmer til the liquid is reduced to about half. Remove the sausage and pour the liquid into a grease-removing pitcher. Let it sit for a while til the grease rises to the top & pour off the liquid beneath. You can pour that back over the sausages for an incredibly moist, flavorful treat, or put it back in the skillet and stir in a little flour (1 Tblsp/1C liquid), strong coffee, salt & pepper for a modified (grease-free) Red Eye Gravy.
