Double-Duty Dinners

Hey, gang.

So, while trying to figure out ways to save time (and money), I've been thinking about what two meals I could cook at the same time but served on different days. Betty's got some pretty good suggestions for Double-Duty Dinners, but I'm also curious what you all suggest.

So far, I've found a good two-meal chicken recipe, courtesy of Rachael Ray, called Chicken Divan Tonight, Chicken Tetrazzini Next Week. And I've also found some great ideas from Cooking Light that use the grill to cook double dinners, called Grill Once, Eat Twice. What else do you guys suggest?

Please share!

I have a stuffed corn bread in this section and the kids, that you use left overs or fresh. You can check it out.

I make my own speghetti sauce (takes all day to cooke) and I freeze some of it, but I also use it for lasgna, I just make sure I put some aside for the sauce and make it more liquid with some tomato juice.  My son is picky and wont eat it so, I make a big pot, freeze some and make a lasgna dish for me! Good to freeze although not as good as fresh!

Do what you can with what you have!
