Fast and Healthy But Tasty Meals!

To Whom It May Concern,

I just wanted to know if somebody out there is dealing with Lupus and Seizures and is losing memory.  I have lost alot of my memory and my husband of twenty-four years with two wonderful christian young adults.  Does anyone have some easy tasty low sodiom dinner meals available out there?

My husband is a Charlotte Meck Retired FFII and I worked nineteen years at the Char-Meck PD as a dispatcher until nine years ago when I was diagnoised with Lupus.  God has blessed our family so much but,  really I have forgotten alot of my cooking skills.  I watch the Food Channel twenty=four seven because I get my ideas from them.  We are regular country people who love good old fashioned food.  Can anyone help me to look good in front of my family?

God Bless,

Cynthia McGowan

Hi Cynthia - General Mills has a website dedicated to fast health cooking. It is called Eat Better America. Type that in your browser (eatbetteramerica com) and you will find hundreds of recipes. Thanks!

There are so many great sources for low sodium recipes. I don't know if the site will allow for links to show in my reply, but if it doesn't try the following by putting www in front and com behind with the customary period inbetween: chfpatients, mayoclinic, mrsdash, lowsoidumcooking, everylastrecipe (there also is a lot of great recipes on busycooks period about period com slash od slash healthycrockpotrecipes slash a slash healthycrockpot period htm). Well, links do not show, hope you can make sense of the above! (I am thankful for the "edit" feature"...lol...as my "see below for links" came up blank...lol!)

Hi Cynthia,

Eat America has some wonderful menus and you add your heath conditions so that they can come up with thing just right for you and your family.  They also have a section for exercise and others to help you adjust to whatever is going on in your life at the time. Check it out it's it can be very helpful.  Good luck and God Bless.  Smile
