CateC, WOW! That really sounds good. I have every thing but the strawbeery syrup, I have strawberries, how can I make the syrup. I'am going to put the cream cheese in the freezer and go to bed, hope I have an answer in the morning for the syrup. Granna2

Wonderful! Hmm... I just tend to make sugar water (more sugar than water- boil it and cool it...) If not- Keep it fresh and just use the strawberries or put some jam on top. Any type I think would be good. Please let us know how they turned out Granna! Sincerely, Cate

Hieveryone, I finally got to try these pancakes. I fixed them for my D.H. and me. My D.H. dosen't like cream cheese, so I didn't tell him that was in them, however when he saw one of the chunks, he thought the pancake wasn't doneSurprise. Other then the c.c. chunk, he really liked them and so did I!!! So, the next time I might try coursely grateing the C.C. instead of cutting it into chunks. I made strawberry syrup: 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. water, stir untill sugar dissloves and add 1/4c. pureed strawberries and cooked it while I was making the pancakes, it thickened and was very good. I am going to make these for my Granddaughter, she loves c.c. Thanks, Granna2

Hi Granna2: Haha, I've been there before where you try not to tell the DH what's in something before you make it. I tried to do that with collard greens last week, but he saw it before I was able to chop it up. Eh, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Thank you for letting us know how it turned out! I love cream cheese also, so I look forward to trying. Thank you for sharing your quick strawberry syrup also.

Sincerely, Cate

CateC, Your welcome,Smile. We liked the strawberry syrup so much that I am going to make more and put it in the frig. I puree strawberries for jam and then freeze them in the amounts needed for the jam, so that is quick. Have a good day! Granna2
