Hi Everyone! We have a brand new initiative that’s about to launch. It’s called “Bake The Change(SM),” and we’d love your help for the big kick-off!

Bake the Change is a program that inspires and challenges people with one question: How would you bake the change you want to see in the world? Members of Bake the Change will submit and share ideas on how they’d like to use the power of baking to create positive change locally and globally.

“Bake The Change” will have its own Facebook page and will feature ideas from bakers across the country that would like to bake to make a change, support a cause or simply to have a positive impact on someone else’s life. Bakers can submit their ideas with the possibility of winning $1,000 and a $50 in Betty Crocker products to support those ideas. These can be little ideas like holding a bake sale at your child’s school and donating the money to a local charity. They can also be great big ideas like baking to send clothing to earthquake victims in Haiti, or launching a Cupcake Day, recognized by your entire city.

It’s okay if you’re already baking for change. We’re also looking for people who simply want to continue making change by doing what they’ve been doing. Feel free to submit a brief story about what you’ve done along with an idea about what you would like to do or keep doing.
