Headlines: Big Game Menu Ideas

One of the most enjoyable parts of watching the big football game on Sunday is all of the delicious snacks that go with it! For this week’s headlines, we’ll take a look at five bloggers and the tasty recipes they might be serving to their team this Sunday!

Nachos and salsa are a must-have in any football spread. But have you ever tried to make skillet nachos? This blogger intends to use Betty Crocker’s recipe that uses chili beans, green bell peppers, corn, and Old El Paso salsa. Choose your favorite tortilla chips and you’re ready for the kick off!

After those nachos, surprise your sports fans with this. This blogger argues French Dip Sandwiches are well worth their somewhat long cooking times. Using a Betty Crocker recipe and a homemade au jus, these are guaranteed to keep ‘em full – at least through one quarter. ;)

We all love good entertainment, but the real halftime show this year should be this Sausage, Tomato, and Caramelized Onion Pizza! The blogger says she’s not even much of a sausage fan, but this dish really does the trick.

Ah, sausage and cheese balls. These are truly a classic for any party, but ESPECIALLY for a football party. In fact, this blogger has been planning on using these for her game day for well over a week now. Besides being totally delicious, it’s one snack that will keep in your refrigerator if your team is too full to finish them off.

Regardless of who wins, you can celebrate at the end of the game with these mouthwatering S’mores bars. While they might be a little bit messy, chocolate and marshmallow on top of Betty Crocker sugar cookies are a great way finish a day full of food, friends, football and fun.

Do you already have some delightful snacks planned out for the game on Sunday? Who do you want to win? …Or are you just there to enjoy the hilarious commercials like me? :P

Love is baking. Today I baked fresh lemon tarts and apple crumb pies for the big game tomorrow. I made them "mini" as I thought it would be easier for the guys to handle. Also baked some biscotti and some good old fashioned oatmeal raisin cookies.

don't know how the rest of the food will go over but I know my guys will feel loved when they have their "goodies"

Live a life of love and be happy. Sharing is caring and food is love
