Headlines of the Week 09/18/09

Has Betty Crocker helped you out this week? Many of you blogged about tips and tricks you got from Betty, but you all have inspired us just as much! Read on to find out more!

Last Saturday, Tammy sent out a recipe request into Twitterverse, and Betty came to the rescue with a super simple cobbler. Tammy included a pic of her delish creation, and we were impressed with her twist on the recipe, turning it into mini cobblers!

Kristina visited the Betty Crocker kitchens for an “Eat and Greet” and learned about our brown bagging initiative. She’ll be sharing some of the recipes she learned over the next month so stay tuned!

Mandy spiced up her routine and delighted her kids with ugly but tasty eye of newt sugar cookies, and she turned regular old tacos into an architecture lesson! Her creativity definitely inspired us. Who knew tortillas could stand up like that? Very cool!

This mom also had the opportunity to cook in the Betty Crocker kitchens. While there, she discovered a new love of Hamburger Helper lasagna! Lots of veggies in the dish to make it extra healthy didn’t hurt. ;)

Earlier this year, we talked a lot about the Make-A-Wish Foundation http://www.bettycrocker.com/StirringUpWishes/Default.aspx, but here are some of our efforts (Thanks to your help!) in action! http://www.prayingforparker.com/our-brave-hero-makes-the-news/

Until next week... :)
