Fall,whats not to love ?!?. I love the cool mornings & evenings, the changing colors of the leaves, apples,pumpkins,cidar. I love to walk on sidewalks and hear the crisp fallen leaves russeling under my feet. Watching children playing in leaf piles. It's the time for home made soups and fresh baked bread ith home made jam/jelly. granna

Oh yeahhhh!  My Liquidamber trees will be so colorful and the leaves smell like apples when you step on them.  And the wind is cool and rustles them all around.

It's the time of year I like to smell something cooking when I walk into the house.  Oatmeal cranberry cookies, Vegetable beef soup, maybe some  cheese biscuits on the side.  Yummmm or maybe an old fashioned Pot Roast with root veggies cooking in my cast iron dutch oven and some fresh sourdough bread with REAL butter slathered on it.

Oh how I wish the cool weather were here already!

I'm new to the board. So a big Hi to all! I agree Wholeheartedly You have made me really hungry! Sounds like you really like to cook when cooler weather arrives. I know I do! Specially the soups and homemade breads "Yummmm! I also love to take a long walk in the evening with the grandkids when the air is crisp and cool down a country lane where the leaves have reached their peak! Then back home to a cup of hot chocolate and Homemade peanutbutter cookies while we sit by the warm crackling fireplace

Just went to the cider mill this weekend! Nothing beats fresh apple cider!
