Grilling in foil packets

When grilling meat and veggies together in those foil packets or when making them in the oven, example: Grilled Cheddar Burgers and Veggies, how do you get rid of all that grease????  I made that recipe but we couldn't eat the meal out of the packet because way too much grease in the bottom.  Any suggestions???

I think the reason the recipe calls for lean ground beef instead of ground beef is so there won't be so much grease in the packet.  Ground chuck or ground round would be a good substitiute for lean ground beef.  Regular ground beef has a lot of fat.

I think I would make a small slit or hole in the bottom of the packets after cooking them to drain any grease.
