Does anyone know about Bisquick mixed in an orange - grilled campside desert?

I was on a school camping trip and our guides helped us make these.  Somehow, bisquick is mixed with the pulp of an orange and maybe some other stuff? like sugar, milk, water?  and then put back into the orange to "bake" on the grill? It was so good - like orange pudding cake......... would love to have the recipe if you know it.  Thanks!

Hello

I just saw that receipe this week or similar. I think it included eggs as well. I was thinking of making also. I think it might have beenin Family Cirlce magazine. I'll see if I can locate it. Have you tried researching on the internet. I bet you will find it.

HI!!!  Wow, you just saw it this week!  That's so much fun......that someone responded to my post, and you saw the recipe!!!  Thank you so much!  No, I didn't do a web search yet.  Just figured there are some very in the know cook/chef types on this site and was hoping for the best.  I really want to make the recipe, but it's been about ohhhh.........29ish years or so........LOL  guess I can wait a little longer...........please do let me know if you happen to find it, at your leisure of course!  :-)

Here is a version of what you are looking for:

Campfire Muffins

6 Oranges

2 (7 oz.) packages of muffin mix, any flavor

Cut oranges in half. Scoop out the orange segments to eat alone or to use in a fruit salad. Reserve the hollow peel shells. Prepare the muffin mix according to the package directions. Fill the orange peel cups half full of batter. Wrap each one loosely with heavy duty aluminum foil. Place in hot coals, making sure that the batter side stays up. Cook 5-10 minutes until muffins are done. Adding a few cranberries to the batter adds excellent flavor and goes well with the orange. Makes 12 (use 3 oranges per package of muffin mix).

Also, could use prepared cake mix instead of muffin mix
