grilling

Good morning....is anyone out there yet?  It's 6am and supposed to be very nice out today....I am looking for a nice grilled chicken recipe that anyone might really like.  I'm not an expert at grilling but I'm learning.  So, if you have a nice recipe for grilled chicken I sure would like to see it.    Thanks

How about an Asian flavor?

Take 1/2 Cup Soy, 1/4 Cup Bourbon, 2 Cloves Garlic, 1 Tbs Ginger, 2 Tbs Brown Sugar, Dash of Dry Mustard

Combine and cook over low heat for 5 - 10 minutes. Then marinade your chicken for at least an hour. Enjoy!

Hi ungr8fl1smom, I tried the "chicken on a (coke)can" and we really liked it, but can't remember how it was seasoned,Confused. I also fixed a turkey breast on the grill one time. That you soaked  for a few hours in a salt brine and them put the charcoals on the both sides with a pan of water in the middle of the grill, under the rack, then put the breast over the pan of water and covered with foil and cooked, lid closed, untill done, according to the directions for baking. Of course you had to check to make sure the coals wre still burning, adding new ones and that there was water in the pan. It did take a long time, but was really good, I coated it with B.B.Q. sauce when it was almost done. You could do the same with chicken?!?

A simple but tasty trick for grilled chicken is to marinate it in some italian dressing for a few hours and toss it on the grill. Brush it lightly with more dressing while it's cooking. For a nice side you could make some kabobs out of sweet onions, whole mushrooms and bell peppers. I wrap my kabobs in foil with butter or a marinade until about 1/2 to 3/4 done then set directly on the grill.  Drunken chicken can be made with non alcoholic beer. I wash and dry my chicken then rub olive oil all over it. Then I take some cajun seasoning, garlic powder and celery salt and mix it in a small bowl. I rub the chicken with this until it's well seasoned and whatever is left I mix with about 1/4 of the beer and inject it directly into the chicken. Walmart and Kroger sell the racks for this so you don't have to deal with the can falling over on the grill but to me that's part of the fun of it. When he falls over and rolls his socks up (the meat pulls away from the leg bone) he's good and drunk and ready to eat!
