I USUALLY JUST GRAB WHATEVER IS HANDY AS I RUN OUT THE DOOR OR WHATEVER LOOKS GOOD IN DELI AND MY LOCAL GAS STATION (WHEN I HAVE TIME TO STOP) Big Smile

i start the day with a cup of french roast coffee, then eat a bowl of fiber rich cereal with fat free milk. This gives me a head start for the day!

When I was younger I used to read the morning paper and have Good Morning America in the background.  My dad and I would always joke we couldn’t get our day started until we read our horoscopes.

Now, I find myself eating bites here and there as I empty or load the dishwasher. Or I’ll eat while reading the latest feeds on my iPhone. This weekend though the hubby and I planted flowers so today I enjoyed the new scenery as I ate my bowl of cereal.  Smile

My husband always has eggs for breakfast usually scrambled with a little chicken or a slice of chopped ham and a sprinkling of shredded cheese on top. Served with a ww English Muffin or 1/2 a bagel. Three days of a week I join him,  the other days I eat a high fiber cereal with light vanilla soy milk Always it is served with a cup Columbia coffee and SF hazelnut creamer for me and reg for him. This  is when we coordindate our day, listen to Good Morning America and read the headlines in the Washington Post, so we know what has happened in the world while we slept. Most days our oldest son , who is living at home, joins us and shares the comic strip Zits with us as I pack their lunches for work.

until about a year ago when I stop being able to find the Berry Cheerios, I would mix a box of the Berry Cheerios with a fifteen oz. box of Cheerios.  My husband is diabetic and by mixing the two it gave him alittle variety, never knowing what berries would show up in his bowl, without raising the Carb count too much.  We had done this for years and really miss the Berry Cheerios.

Since my D.H. retired I have started eating breakfast again,Smile. First we have coffee, usually in bed, he brings it to meSurprise, then after we get up, we usually have a few more cups of coffee, then I fix us 2 hard fried eggs, maybe toast for him and yogart, that he's just started eating. Some days we have cooked cereal, and if he wants dry cereal, I don't usually eat untill later. I just can't eat cereal by itself in the mornings, it just zaps my strength?!? Granna2

My husband goes to Snap Fitness.  I watch Good Morning, America, while catching up on e-mail.

We eat:  maybe cereal, maybe eggs, maybe toast with cottage cheese, always juice and coffee.

We read a bit from the Bible, then pray for family, friends, missionaries, and the world.

Then, our days begin.

Well, We usually just have toast, cereal, bagel, etc. Something quick during the week. Because I have 4 little ones and a husband to get out the door by 8AM.

But then  I found out how to cook a scramble egg in the microwave. (scramble in a bowl for 30 to 40 seconds) Now the possibilities are endless!

Also when we have enough ingredients I make triple batches of pancakes and french toast on the weekends and I freeze them for during the week.

It saves money and doesn't have any other added ingredients like store bought pancakes and french toast!
