Here is the Betty Crocker Kitchen's advice on freezing any cookies...

"Tightly wrap, label and freeze unfrosted cookies for up to 12 months and frosted for up to 3 months. Put cookies in single layers in freezer containers and cover with waxed paper before adding another layer; freeze.  Thaw cookies covered in the container at room temperature for 1- 2 hours. For crisp cookies, remove from container to thaw."
