Hi Goodson1:

We are here to help!

I would do searches on low fat and low choloesterol and see what pops up in the searches. But also, check out this category.

Searching the recipes is easy once you know how to narrow them down.

Let's say you want to make chicken. So you type that into the search:

http://www.bettycrocker.com/search/searchresults.aspx?terms=chicken

From there, look on the left. There is a whole health section.

Health

High Fiber (113)
Low Calorie (304)
Low Cholesterol (84)
Low Fat (192)
Low Sodium (23)

Click on the one that makes sense for you. Let's say you pick Low Cholesterol.

Please note that all recipes have the nutrition information at the bottom. So for this recipe:

it says:

Hope this helps! Sincerely, CC

Hi Goodson1.  I suggest vegetable and fruit salads,  lots of fresh or frozen vegetables, using different seasonings in place of butter and cheeses.  Then bake, broil, or grill LEAN meats only.  You can pan fry as long as you do no use much oil, and then olive oil is one of the best.  Chicken and fish are your best choices.  But an occasional lean pork loin is ok.  I have also limited my intake of eggs and use only skim milk.  Plus I read all labels.  One other piece of advise.  I would not go on any presciptions when I developed high cholestrol and asked my doctor about other alternatives.  He suggested stanols and stenals.  A natural plant derivative  that helps reduce cholestertol.  One I found at the drug store is called "Cholest-Off".  The other natural item is red yeast rice.  I have taken both for over a year and my cholesterol is now back in acceptable range.  PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR FIRST.  But I hope this helps.
